Honeycomb Featuring ‘Render Script’ for Hardware Accelerated 3D Graphics

At Google's presentation today on the Honeycomb operating system, they were quick to point out at just how smoothly the animations were running. All of these animations were possible by the new Render Script that's built into the Honeycomb OS.

In-App Billing Coming to Android This Quarter

The final point at today's Google event was that Google is readying the ability to support in-app purchases. In a very great move for developers, the ability will allow them to charge for additional levels, consumables, and other after-purchase needs.

Android Market Web store Announced, Purchase Applications On the Desktop, Send to Phone

The Android Market Web store has been announced and is ready for release today. The system will allow users to purchase and download content from a web browser and then send the applications to their device. To get to the web store, navigate to http://market.android.com. Here you can browse applications just as you would on an Android device. When you click on the "Buy" button on the web page, you will be presented with the option for which device you would like to send the application to. The purchase dialog would then appear asking to confirm the purchase. Once the credit card transaction completes, the application will be sent (via cloud) to the devices that were selected. ‘Google Body’ Coming to Honeycomb

Google today demoed its new application Google Body. Based off of hardware-accelerated 3D rendering software running on Honeycomb, it will bring human anatomy to the masses.
