GameStop testing Android Gaming Tablet pre 2012 launch
Word on the street is that there's going to be a new gaming tablet… on the streets. GameStop company president Tony Bartel has commented this week about how they're currently in testing mode for an Android-based tablet that they've also already started working on a gaming controller for as well. This tablet will be, as Bartel calls it, a “GameStop certified gaming platform” and that it'll start with a few games and build up and up and up and explode all over the gaming industry similar to what we've seen (to a degree) with OnLive with HTC and other related groups.

NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core optimized Sprinkle Coming Soon, Tegra 2 version Out Today
This Thursday the developers at Mediocre announced not only the release of their radically awesome Sprinkle puzzle game as right this second, today, on the Android Market, but the fact that they're currently working with NVIDIA to optimize the game for the quad-core Project Kal-El processors of the near future. Don't get your pants in too much of a bundle at the moment, though as they've not let slip anything about release date in their excitement over the release of this already excellent water and fire-based game.

Heavy Gunner Review – Still Sweet
There are only so many games right this moment on the entire mobile platform that allow you to murder aliens. Even smaller than this group of games is a selection of games that allow you to do so with one futuristic chain gun, much less two, even rarer is a game that allows you to spin in a turret around using your tablet / smartphone's internal sensors, shooting then with two separately-aimable guns like you're playing Lucky and Wild! If you don't know what that arcade game is, please, please find out.

E3: Hands-On with Shadowgun from Madfinger Games, Graphics look Incredible
Shadowgun by Madfinger games has been mentioned a few times here before. We even saw a demo of the game by Nvidia but it was merely just the character on screen walking around and teasing us with some amazing visuals. Today DroidGamers has some much better footage with shooting and an actual real gameplay hands-on coming out of E3.

Riptide GP [Beta] Review / Game Demo on LG G-Slate
Well would you look at that, we've had the opportunity to have an even closer look at the wave-racing game Riptide GP, optimized for NVIDIA Tegra 2 devices, made to roll out nicely on the G-Slate! I say even close because we did get to peek at this game back at Pepcom during CTIA 2011, a convention in sunny Orlando Florida some weeks ago. See below as we run through what this still-slightly-early build of the game has to offer, all of it here on the utterly new T-Mobile G-Slate!

Pinball HD for Tegra Review
Welcome to the greatest pinball video game collection ever - ever, of all time. I apologize before we begin this "review" on account of my rare but very clear freaking out over how much I love the developers of this pinball series, Gameprom. The first game I ever saw made by Gameprom was SLAYER Pinball. Once I played that, I was hooked, purchasing every pinball game they made since. Unfortunately, none of those pinball games have been out on Android until now. You and I are in for a big treat, as they're going to release three games all at once, the suite called Pinball HD, and they're all coming out teamed up with NVIDIA's Tegra 2 processor - you know what that means? Time for some G-Slate action.

Vendetta Online for Android [Motorola XOOM] [REVIEW] [VIDEO]
Behold a game that's been out since 2004. I'm not kidding. Today while I was hanging out in the game, taking my final screenshots, a man told me he'd been playing the game for 6 years. Does that say something to you about the amount of gameplay you can potentially get out of this app? Quite a bit, yes. This is Vendetta Online, a game which has JUST this week come to Android for play on the Motorola XOOM which is of course running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It's a science fiction massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that you'll now be interfacing with via your singular XOOM screen. It's an entire universe - will our XOOM window into it survive with the rest of the ranks?
