Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation is now available for Android

Gameloft has just released the extremely impressive looking Modern Combat 3 for Android. We were teased with a few sample videos showing off this quality game back in August and sadly we've had to wait almost a half year to get this game on our Android phones and tablets. Gameloft officially released this first person shooter over the weekend and I'm excited to give it a try.

Gameloft's Modern Combat Series, you know, the one that totally isn't a popular console game from Activision, is getting its third installment very soon. Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation features new gameplay enhancements and graphics, and Gameloft was kind enough to show off a new trailer for the military shoot-em-up on YouTube. From the look of things, console-quality shoots are very nearly a reality on Android.

Gameloft, the Android game publisher that's so good you almost don't mind that none of their games are on the official Android Market, is having a closeout sale on some of its top-tier games this weekend. To start off September, we have a massive amount of tech news to present in this issue of Android Community Weekly! Sunday, the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE were officially announced. Later on, we ran across a recently initiated build of CyanogenMod 7 for none other than the HP TouchPad. Which build will have full functionality first? CM7 or the Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) port that’s also in the works?
