An Amazon set-top box has been the subject on numerous rumors, and as of today it would appear as if we are getting a first look at some of the hardware. We aren't seeing the box itself, but a piece that brings a clear suggestion of functionality. Dave Zatz recently spotted some images of a game controller.

OUYA console refresh brings more storage and updated controller

It has been several months since we first saw this discussed, however it seems the OUYA game console has gotten a bit of a refresh. The update brings a few changes including a "refined" controller, improvements to WiFi connectivity and doubles the storage. This latest OUYA is sporting 16GB of internal storage, just like the white limited edition model that arrived during the holiday shopping season.

NVIDIA has announced and detailed the latest software update for the SHIELD. This one will be rolling out over-the-air and it will be arriving with several new features and lots more in terms of functionality. Just to begin with, this update will bump your handheld console to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. But there will also be Console Mode, a Gamepad Mapper and more.

STEM System motion tracker adds Android goal to Kickstarter bid

Many game and software projects in the site crowdfunding platform Kickstarter tack on support for mobile platforms only after reaching a certain amount of funds, and Sixense is definitely no different. The group has promised to bring in Android and iOS support to their motion tracking system if the amount of pledges reaches $700,000, almost three times the original campaign goal.

GameStick unboxes Kickstarter edition console and controller

Earlier this month we heard talk of shipping delays for the GameStick game system. The good news however is that the GameStick has since begun shipping. In fact, thanks to a recently posted unboxing video, we now know the GameStick began shipping to Kickstarter backers last week.
