If you have an HTC Incredible or Samsung Galaxy S, you will find that currently doubleTwist doesn’t support files that are stored on your internal memory. This will change soon according to doubleTwist. Their app is currently being updated to take advantage of handsets with internal storage.

It’s a well known fact that AMOLED screen look terrible at best in direct sunlight. This makes the device almost unusable in direct sunlight. This is the one area where an LCD screen has a slight advantage over AMOLED screen. Samsung has just eliminated that advantage with the release of the Super AMOLED screen that made its debut on the Galaxy S.

According to a press release by Orange UK, the Galaxy Apollo will launch soon and will be exclusive to their network.  If you were hoping to get your hands on it and you’re not in an area that is supported by Orange UK, you may be out of luck for awhile. There is currently no unlocked version that I could find. This device is a mid-range Android handset and it can be you’re either on a Pay as You Go Plan or on contract.

Samsung Galaxy Beam: world’s first Android projector phone
Projector phones were supposed to be “the next big thing” in the evolution of cell phones. So far, that hasn’t been the case, there was a non-Android based projector phone released here in the US recently. Needless to say it didn’t do so well as far as sales goes. I personally haven’t seen one in the wild since it was released. Can Samsung break this technology into the mainstream with the Galaxy Beam?

Although we’ve heard that the Galaxy S was headed to every major carrier in the US, it seems T-Mobile might be the first out the gate with their version. It has just passed through the FCC and it could (highly unlikely) make it way to Magenta in time for the free phone promotion this Saturday.

Usually we would call something like this a rumor but we now have cold hard evidence of its existence. I checked my mailbox and to my delight I was treated with the first real pictures of the Galaxy S Pro. As you can see from the picture, it’s the Galaxy S with a full QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a front facing camera and a few other surprises.

More news of the latest member of Samsung’s Galaxy family is starting to flow in. this time around a Vietnamese site by the name of Tinh Te, is claiming to have information on a few specs. If they are true this will be a pretty impressive tablet. Samsung has a history of being able to deliver hardware pretty quick so the wait for this slate may not be as long as most.
