Fake Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Video “Leaked,” Specs Included

So this morning we've been handed a tip that notes OLEDinfo having a leaked video and specs on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Of course we ran on over with our shoes untied because that's the sort of thing we'd love to post. We watched the video and checked out the specs - and we call shenanigans. Feel free to check out the video below (which has been posted to a YouTube account started yesterday, mind you, with spam below pushing the video as "LEAKED!!!" - really, guys? Really?

Samsung has been known for their Galaxy Tab contests asking for user created ads and personal expression since its release last year. One of these contests, the VCAM (Viewer Created Ad Message) Campaign, has been a success receiving many user-submitted videos, and now Samsung has officially selected the winner.

Honeycomb Hardware Requirements False

Well it turns out that Honeycomb may not require a dual-core processor after all. Dan Morrill, a developer on the Android team, says that Android 3.0 Honeycomb does not have any hardware requirements and that the rumors were completely false.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and LG Optimus Pad coming at CES 2011?

If you are a big fan of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, either you will like this news or it may make you mad. Korea Times reports that the second generation Galaxy Tab may be debuting at CES next week. The only people that will make angry are the folks that have only recently purchased the original Galaxy Tab and are now faced with the prospect of a new tablet with better performance hitting the market.
