Samsung mislead everyone about Galaxy Tab sales figures

A new document introduced in the latest Apple versus Samsung trial shines a light on an ongoing point of contention for market share statistics: sales versus shipments. Sales of devices don’t always translate to shipments, but the two are often confused. It seems the document suggests that Samsung’s performance in the tablet market may not have been as successful as we have been led to believe. In fact, they may not have had much success at all.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 specs leaked

Samsung is set to debut a new lineup of Galaxy Tablets, appropriately dubbed Galaxy Tab 4. The trio (yeah, three variants) of devices are likely to crest into the world at MWC this year. With little news of what’s coming from Samsung in regard to tablets, we now have some spec speculation, which is always fun.

Samsung Galaxy Tab for Education unveiled with Android 4.4 Kit Kat

Samsung has recently unveiled their latest tablet, which is a Galaxy Tab 10.1 intended for the education market. This one is dubbed the Galaxy Tab for Education and is said to have been "designed for integration with Google Play for Education." Samsung plans to have this model ready by April, which should be good timing for those planning purchases for the 2014-2015 school year.

Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite get official as latest 7-inch tablet

Following up on some of the recent rumors and sightings, Samsung has officially announced the latest in the Galaxy Tab lineup. The new entry is the Galaxy Tab3 Lite. This will be a 7-inch tablet that is powered by a dual-core processor and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Samsung hasn't offered anything in terms of pricing, but based on the specs it seems this one will be serving the entry-level market.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 spec leak suggests octa-core Exynos CPU

This isn't the first time we have seen talk of the still unannounced Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, however it seems this latest mention has brought some spec related details. It is important to remember that nothing is official until we hear direct from Samsung, but with that warning out of the way -- what we are seeing comes by way of an AnTuTu benchmark filing. Details here begin with the display, which while we seen 10.1 in terms of inches, we now have the resolution, 2560 x 1600.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 US launch date confirmed

Samsung has confirmed the release date and the pricing for the US launch of the Galaxy Tab 3 family. The lineup includes the 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 models and they will all be available beginning on July 7th. Perhaps some better news for those looking to make a commitment -- pre-orders will be available beginning on June 25th.

Samsung’s upcoming 10-inch Galaxy Tab 3 tipped to arrive with Intel

Earlier rumors and leaks had been suggesting that Samsung was looking towards Intel for the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3. While Samsung has yet to come forward with an official announcement, there has been some follow up and this time around we are hearing about Samsung and Intel from both Reuters and the Korea Times. Granted, that doesn't mean this is all official, but it certainly does lend some credibility to those earlier rumors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 retail product listings appear

Samsung has yet to reveal the 8.0 and 10.1-inch varieties of the Galaxy Tab 3, however that doesn't seem to have stopped one retailer from listing both models. The listings include some prices and show a few different colors for each model, however they are on the lighter side. Basically, while the price points and colors seem to be where they would belong, it is hard to ignore the bit about these listings not having a full set of specs or any images.
