Samsung to Provide Galaxy Tab 10.1 to American Airlines for Premium Class In-Flight Entertainment
You first-class passengers are about to get a little bit more classy, a whole heck of a lot more classy if Samsung has anything to say about it. Samsung has just sealed a "landmark agreement" with American Airlines to provide Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android tablets to Premium Class passengers for in-flight entertainment. This move will start with 6,000 tablets deployed later this year (2011) and will replace the current personal entertainment device (which, I'm sure they'd admit, was untastefully out of date,) this happening on transcontinental flights between New York’s JFK and Los Angeles, JFK and San Francisco, and Miami and Los Angeles.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi Edition Hands-On and Unboxing
Behold! The thinnest and lightest tablet of them all! It's straight outta Samsung and it's got the newest Android system, that being Android 3.1 Honeycomb (as opposed to 3.0, that is,) and it's coming right at cha. Know before we start in here that we've gotten a look at the slightly earlier edition of this tablet in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Google I/O Limited Edition Review, but that this version is more of a "complete" version of the tablet in that it will hopefully be free of blemishes. We'll have our eyes glancing sideways at that while we give this masterpiece of a bit of hardware a full-on look over a full review period. Meanwhile, lets have a look!

Samsung pokes at iPad 2 with new commercial says, “It’s time to Tab”
We all knew that the inevitable comparisons and mudslinging ads were coming when the Galaxy Tab 10.1 first surfaced. With the Tab 10.1 coming soon, the first mudslinging commercial from Samsung has landed pitting the tablet against the iPad 2. Samsung doesn’t say the tablet in some of the scenes in the commercial is the iPad 2, but we all recognize the iPad 2 and its smart cover when we see it. The commercial shows people watching others doing cool things with the Tab 10.1 and then buying one themselves.

Samsung Galaxy S II will not be hitting Verizon in July, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will
Earlier reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S II would be coming to Verizon starting sometime in July. Those reports were brought to us by Computerworld but it looks like now just a few hours later and after everyone and their dog ran the story, that it was actually incorrect. It looks like what they meant to say was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be hitting Verizon in July, not the Galaxy S II superphone.
