Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Hits the FCC with T-Mobile 4G
T-Mobile may finally be getting another Android Honeycomb tablet. It appears the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just hit the FCC tagged with some of T-Mobile's GSM bands as well as what they call "4G". Verizon has a 4G LTE version and you can see our review of that here, but now T-Mobile wants to join the party it seems.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 up for sale at Vodafone UK
It appears that one of the only carriers in the entirety of Europe to get their Galaxy Tab 10.1 shipment before the massive Euro ban of the tablet, Vodafone UK, has now got their stock up for sale, thanks to the courts suspension of said ruling outside of Germany. This device of course is also for sale in some other bits of the world including the USA and Australia, but has certainly suffered some losses in potential sales due to the court ruling. Meanwhile the rest of the UK is more than likely awaiting shipment of their Tabs so that sales may resume across the English side of the ocean.

Verizon Outs Android-Compatible Intuit GoPayment Credit Card Reader
You know how when you go to those future stores where clerks have credit card scanners on their phones, you don't have to go to a sales desk because there IS NO SALES DESK? Imagine if you had the same sort of situation going on in your store - or better yet, imagine if you had your own mobile business going on and all you had to do to get some cash from someone was to swipe their card along the side of your Android device? That time has come, the hardware is here, and Verizon's got your back. What Verizon has revealed today is no less than the Intuit GoPayment App and Credit Card Reader, a hardware/software combination that'll allow your small business to go mobile instantly.

Samsung Galaxy S II Banned in Europe by Apple Injunction
In a manner extremely similar to what we saw just about a week ago (then quickly limited in scope), Apple has successfully worked with Dutch courts in The Hague to, starting today, issue a preliminary injunction against three Samsung devices: the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Ace, and Galaxy S. This injunction, just like the last, due to EU law, bans the devices from sale across the entire European Union. This injunction does not include the Galaxy Tab 10.1, though with a case going on in Germany at the same time, Apple may be choosing case locations where they'll be most effective.

Heavy Gunner Review – Still Sweet
There are only so many games right this moment on the entire mobile platform that allow you to murder aliens. Even smaller than this group of games is a selection of games that allow you to do so with one futuristic chain gun, much less two, even rarer is a game that allows you to spin in a turret around using your tablet / smartphone's internal sensors, shooting then with two separately-aimable guns like you're playing Lucky and Wild! If you don't know what that arcade game is, please, please find out.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi Receiving small OTA update
Samsung is currently rolling out a quick and small OTA update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 but only for the Wi-Fi version. This bug fix appears to be for tabs that are running the new Touch Wiz UX as the update brought on a couple issues for some users. Last we heard Samsung was halting the Touch Wiz update to fix some problems and bugs.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Going on Sale in Australia, Apple didn’t win
Despite Apple's frivolous attempts to block the Samsung Galaxy Tab in many markets such as Australia and even the entire European Union, it appears that sales will surge forward in both areas according to recent news. First we saw the sales might be halted in Australia but quickly learned they will continue as planned and go on sale shortly.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Touch Wiz UX Updated Halted?
This is a bit of random news that is for sure. Apparently Samsung has halted the rollout of the recently released Touch Wiz UX update for the Galaxy Tan 10.1 Wi-fi tablet. It started hitting devices sometime last week but it appears they might have found a few bugs and are now temporarily halting the update to assess the problem.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is $70 cheaper at Newegg until 8/31
Everyone loves to save a few extra dollars where they can right? Over at one of my favorite online stores Newegg.com, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a little $70 dollar savings attached to it. While this isn't actually $70 off they are offering a free gift card worth $70 dollars with the purchase of the tablet. Although you still pay full price you'll have a gift card to buy accessories, cases, or anything computer related as Newegg sales a ton of great stuff at exceptional prices.
