Galaxy S III TouchWiz ported to Galaxy S II and Note
There's no denying the Galaxy S III is an awesome phone. One of the things that impressed us during our hands-on was the user interface. Samsung's new TouchWiz UX is as impressive as ever, stable, and extremely smooth. While waiting for the phone to be released we now have an early taste for a few lucky Samsung owners. When S-Voice and the full ROM was leaked developers started work on a port, and today we have just that.

T-Mobile Galaxy S II update rolling out now
This morning T-Mobile has updated their support pages with another update to one of their most popular phones. After the Amaze 4G update was tipped this morning we are now seeing an update rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile. Sadly we have some bad news though. The update is only an incremental update and is still Android 2.3 Gingerbread -- no Ice Cream Sandwich just yet.

Galaxy S III coming in blue and white to start
Multiple colors are coming back into style for modern superphones: you can grab a Galaxy Nexus in drab grey or arctic white, the Galaxy S II comes in black, white and hot pink, and the DROID RAZR can be had in black, white or, inexplicably, purple. According to a Carphone Warehouse inventory listing spotted by GSMArena, the much-anticipated SamsungĀ Galaxy S III will buck that trend somewhat, coming in blue and white.

Unlocked Galaxy S II in the US getting ICS update
The Samsung Galaxy S II may have seen the popular update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich already in various markets in the world and the international version, but not the unlocked models here in the USA. AT&T’s ICS update for the original Galaxy S II leaks
Earlier today we brought owners of the LTE-enabled Galaxy S II Skyrocket news of their Ice Cream Sandwich leak, and now the original Galaxy S II gets in on the party. Yes, Samsung fans, there is a Santa Clause... he was just a little late this year. The leaked update should work for all AT&T models of the Galaxy S II, and it's pretty similar to the international GSII update released a couple of weeks ago. This is the stock version, unrooted (at the moment) and almost certainly isn't the final version of this update. Thanks to RootzWiki for posting the leak.
