Yesterday the folks from Samsung announced their first of many new tablets coming this year with the Galaxy Tab 3, but that isn't all we can expect to hit the shelves later this year. Apparently the not too popular Galaxy Player series will be getting revamped. Hopefully this time they have some better specs to compete more directly with the iPod Touch.

Samsung is back today with their latest Galaxy Player announcement. This time around they've just unleashed details on their biggest media player yet, and I just feel like calling it a tablet. Samsung seems dead set on releasing a tablet or Galaxy Player in every size imaginable. Recently some new rumors have suggested they are prepping another odd sized 5.8-inch Samsung Galaxy Player -- or small tablet if you will. Today however we now have a detailed spec sheet and image of the device. A fine blend between their music players, and the Galaxy S III.
