Twitter has announced a tablet optimized Android app today. While that by itself may sound like great news, there is a catch. You see, at this point the app only supports one model. The tablet is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, which arrived in the US market as of today. On the bright side, the folks at Twitter have promised the app is also coming to other tablets.

Verizon Wireless announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE back in January during CES. At that time the release details and pricing were left a mystery and it was simply said that the tablet would be arriving in the coming weeks. Well, it looks like those coming weeks will be arriving very shortly. Simply put, Verizon has said the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE will be available on March 7.
US Cellular has officially announced the availability of the 4G LTE-equipped Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. We had known this release was coming, however as of today the tablet is available for purchase. US Cellular will have the Note 10.1 available online and at the retail stores. Those interested in making the purchase should expect to shell out $499.99.
