Verizon Wireless announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE back in January during CES. At that time the release details and pricing were left a mystery and it was simply said that the tablet would be arriving in the coming weeks. Well, it looks like those coming weeks will be arriving very shortly. Simply put, Verizon has said the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE will be available on March 7.

US Cellular has officially announced the availability of the 4G LTE-equipped Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. We had known this release was coming, however as of today the tablet is available for purchase. US Cellular will have the Note 10.1 available online and at the retail stores. Those interested in making the purchase should expect to shell out $499.99.

A short while back we saw Samsung announce the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in garnet red and as today, it looks like another Galaxy branded tablet is going red. The latest is the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Samsung will have the red model available just in time for Valentine's Day. The garnet red Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE will be available beginning on February 14. The one catch, as of now it has only been announced for one market.

Samsung has released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2, complete with the latest version of the Premium Suite. The new software includes Paper Artist, the tweaked interface, the latest iteration of Multi Window and Air View, and Easy Clip, among other things.

Verizon Wireless confirms upcoming release for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The leaks and rumors were numerous, however Verizon Wireless and Samsung have officially put an end to them. In short, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been confirmed as coming to Verizon Wireless. The 10.1-inch tablet is expected to be available in the "coming weeks." In other words, we know the tablet is coming, however neither company has yet to offer a specific release date.

We have seen a few recent mentions of a Verizon Wireless LTE-friendly Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. If you remember back to mid-December, we saw a mention of the tablet with the Wi-Fi Alliance and then later with the FCC. Of course, that FCC filing came with a catch in that there was no specific mention for approval in terms of the LTE.

Samsung is no stranger to public patent cases, thanks to Apple, however it now seems another company going after the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. That company is LG Display and they are looking to stop the sale, manufacture and importation of the Note 10.1. And on top of that, they are also going after compensation for damages should the tablet remain available for sale.

EE, the UK wireless carrier, has announced that it is bringing two new tablets to its customers starting today. Two of the most popular tablets on the market are available on EE. First, we have the Galaxy Note 10.1. For people who want a little smaller tablet, EE has you covered with Google's Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 comes with a Huawei E589 mobile Wi-Fi dongle allowing it to access the Internet on the go.

Samsung is consistently updating its devices to Jelly Bean. The company may not be pushing 4.2 to its devices, but it still doing a better job of bringing Jelly Bean goodness to its devices than most companies, especially when you consider the large amount of devices Samsung offers. Well, Samsung is bringing Jelly Bean 4.1 to WiFi Galaxy Note 10.1 devices in Germany and keeping its update momentum going.

Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE for those in South Korea last month, and while we have had expectations of it arriving with Verizon Wireless, this recently discovered FCC filing suggests that release is drawing closer. Of course, as we all realize -- nothing is official until we hear it from Samsung or Verizon.
