New Galaxy Nexus spotted in Benchmark tests

For now we are going to chalk this up as just a rumor or most likely some spoofed information. What we are seeing is apparently some benchmarks ran of the popular NenaMark2 suite. What makes this unique is the device is being listed as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus -- only with a new TI OMAP 4470 processor with much, much better graphics and a possible speed of around 1.8 GHz. Interesting indeed. Is Samsung about to pull a Motorola and drop another device so soon?

President Obama to appear on Google+ for post State of the Union Interview

Who wants to see President Obama live on a Google+ hangout? If you do then next week you are in luck because Obama will be doing exactly that. After trying to be more "social" the White House made a Google+ account last week. I was confused when I saw it but now it appears that the White House will be holding a post State of the Union interview with the President live with a Google+ Hangout.

Apple attacks Samsung over Galaxy Nexus slide-to-unlock feature

Oh this looks like fun. Apple is at it again this month and we have just learned they are taking another stab at Samsung in court over their new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and its slide-to-unlock feature. While the filing clearly is going after Samsung this is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich feature -- more aimed at Google than Samsung, only they get the trouble.

Seidio releases 3800mAh extended battery for VZW Galaxy Nexus

Warning: The Seidio Innocell 3800mAh Super Extended Life Battery for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus will not stop bullets. It cannot be used to jump your car battery. It does not double as a maritime anchor. You might be tempted to try any or all of these things once you slide its massive bulk into your Galaxy Nexus and insert the custom battery cover. Do not. It won't end well. What the Innocell battery will do is give you some truly massive runtime, more than doubling the capacity of the standard 1850mAh battery included in the CDMA Nexus.

Galaxy Nexus accessories delayed, Expansys offers car dock January 29th

Ever since the popular Samsung Galaxy Nexus launched we've been waiting for a few awesome accessories from Google and Samsung. We saw a great desktop dock in Hong Kong during the official Nexus unveil, and an impressive car dock that I'd love to buy but sadly none are available. Popular online shop Clove UK has recently updated their blog stating that accessories have been delayed. They aren't the only ones pushing back dates either but we do have some good news after the break.

White Galaxy Nexus press photos appear

Just in time to make your holidays... no, wait, that doesn't work any more. In any case, the white version of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus that ws announced at UK retailers yesterday now has some pretty pictures to go with it. The new hue will be available for sale in early February at Clove and other phone sellers in its standard unlocked configuration, at the same ~499 GBP total price that the original is currently sold at. There are no current plans for carrier-subsidized versions, though that's certainly possible in the future.
