Google reminds us of Android’s cloud sync features in latest video

Google's been using cloud services for a long, long time. Way before Google Drive was even in the discussion. In case some of you somehow didn't know this, Google actually syncs your contacts, calender, photos, apps, books, and recently Google Music. While iCloud is new to the game Google's been doing this since Android was a baby. Simply sign into Google or Gmail and all your contacts automatically sync to your new phone. Today they've released a quick video as a reminder of how awesome Android is.

Mugen Power 3900 mAh Galaxy Nexus extended battery review

Battery life of smartphones is something we all wish was better. Especially ones like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with a huge screen and 4G LTE. Last week I had the pleasure to test the Mugen Power extended battery for the Galaxy Nexus coming in at 3900 mAh -- a huge improvement over the stock 1750 mAh battery. Signal issues arrive after Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update

Last week Google released the latest version of Android, version 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich to multiple devices. One of those, the Galaxy Nexus, appears to be having problems. We are now starting to see and hear multiple reports that users are experiencing signal problems and loss of signal since accepting the official OTA update. Android 4.0.4 ICS rolling out for Nexus S, Xoom, and Galaxy Nexus

Whoa! It looks like Google maybe saw a few angry comments around the Android ecosystem about the lack of updates because in one huge massive announcement they just made tons of people happy. The update to Android 4.0.4 ICS is rolling our right now, as we speak to multiple devices. Those include the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM), Nexus S, and the Motorola Xoom WiFi. Looks like Verizon users of the Gnex and Xoom will have to wait a little longer.

MIUI ICS ROM officially available for the Galaxy Nexus
