Amazon Kindle smartphone with glasses-free 3D tipped

Amazon is getting ready to release a pair of smartphones, and even an audio-streaming device of some kind, new tips suggests, and one of those smartphones will even feature 3D. It's time to fire up those Kindle smartphone rumors again guys. Apparently the high-end Amazon smartphone will use eye-tracking and glasses-free 3D, among other things, for hands-free usage and much more.

NYC adds cell and WiFi service to 36 more Subway stations

In an effort to have all Subway stations completely wired by 2016, the MTA has announced that around 36 stations are getting smartphone cell service and WiFi access in New York City. More than 8.5 million daily subway riders will be happy to learn that they'll have complete wireless service deep underground at more than 30 new locations. Time to check Twitter and Facebook on the Subway.

ZTE Director launches on US Cellular for those on a budget

Today the folks from ZTE and US Cellular announced the latest smartphone that will be headed to the regional carrier soon. It's called the ZTE Director and this little entry-level budget smartphone is aimed for those on a budget or looking for their first smartphone. It's just 1 cent with a new contract, or $99 to buy outright and we have all the details.

Disney’s Wreck It Ralph and other games now free in the Google Play Store [Updated]

While this may not be quite as exciting as the update to the actual Google Play Store, it seems Disney has recently lowered the price of four games. Or more to the point, Disney has made four games available for free. None of these games were what we would consider high-priced before, however we suppose free may be nicer than paid.

The extremely popular developers from PikPok Games released this endless-runner style zombie game, but it's certainly one that's memorable. After Google launched their note competitor last week, Google Keep, we've been seeing plenty mentions of the note-taking app. Today they have two things they've announced in what looks to be a fire back at Google. GOWEX lighting up New York with free Wi-Fi

GOWEX, for those not familiar with the name, is a company that promises to "reinvent your city" and transform it into a Wireless Smart City. That being the case, it looks like they have begun transforming a new city -- New York. Based on details we have seen, GOWEX will be rolling out nearly 2000 hotspots across the city. Or more specifically, they have said they will be offering 1,953 hotspots in and around some of the biggest neighborhoods of the city.
