Motorola DROID 3 FM Radio App works for the Bionic too

I'm sure there is still plenty of users around these parts that uses the FM radio feature of their Android phone. When the DROID 3 came out and indeed had FM radio support and a fancy app to go with it many users liked it. The Droid Bionic sadly does not share this same app for some odd reason and according to specs the Droid Bionic doesn't have an FM radio. Although using the DROID 3 APK we've quickly learned it does indeed have a FM radio, and it works great.

FM Radio Built Into the Cliq

Although I am a proud Nexus One owner I also love my Cliq. When I first got it I was looking for ways to hack it and in my search I found out that there was a FM Radio lying dormant inside the Moto Cliq. I also found out that there was an awesome Android hacker/modder by the name of Eugene373 that was able to get it to tune but nothing would play. That has all changed now.

FCC report tips Archos A5S Android Internet Tablet

Archos' Android-based Internet Tablet has been prematurely revealed, courtesy of the company's FCC report.  The device - which resembles their existing Archos 5 PMP, but uses Google's mobile OS - has been confirmed as the Archos A5S (7501), as well as having an untested sibling device, the A5H (7501). The Archos A5S has WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and both an FM receiver and transmitter, together with a touchscreen and - going by the single image of the device powered on, which you can see in the gallery below - a custom UI on top of the standard Android interface.  While the FCC did not test any integrated 3G connectivity option, the (incomplete) user manual does suggest that at least one model will have it; it's been speculated that this could be the differentiating factor of the Archos A5H. There's also a microSD card slot and microUSB ports.  We're expecting the Archos Android MID to be officially announced on September 15th, hopefully with a price that puts it firmly in the "affordable companion device" category.
