Get ready for gore: Mortal Kombat X lands on Android

You may or may not already have your hands on the latest and probably the most blood, intestine, or even brain filled version of Mortal Kombat X that launched last week. Whichever the case, you might prefer to have some of that MKX goodness with you wherever you go, which means it's time for a mobile tie-in. Lucky for you, Warner Bros. is only too happy to oblige. But while the mobile game does have some of the high-quality graphics, and even a bit of the gore, of the console main game, don't expect the same immersion.

SNK Playmore brings Fatal Fury Special to Android

SNK brings another one of its classic franchises into Android by porting Fatal Fury Special into an app via the Google Play Store. Most of SNK Playmore’s games – if you check their app line-up – will either be related to the King of Fighters or Metal Slug line of games. But at least we’re getting one not just for variation’s sake, but a total classic of a fighting game as well.

Two new Marvel games up for soft launch, will soon be available

As the Age of Ultron slowly nears… ok, that sounded a tad too cinematic. Let’s try again. As the month of May slowly approaches and Marvel fans all over the world are gearing up for what should be a fun ride with Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, Marvel is keen to stoke the fires with two new games – Marvel Mighty Heroes and Marvel Future Fight. Both are on soft launch at the moment and are not available in the US yet, but should soon be.

New Mortal Kombat X gameplay video out, we have no words

We were kinda excited when we heard that NetherRealm was bringing Mortal Kombat back to life again, but we were not expecting this! Mortal Kombat X is the new version of the fighting game staple that has entranced fighting game fans throughout the past generations, and with this new gameplay, it might just steal this generation’s hearts (literally) as well.

Mortal Kombat coming to Android in April

Some of the newer generation gamers do not understand what the big deal was with Mortal Kombat. The graphics were meh, the gameplay was nothing new – maybe it was the uber-gory fatalities that did the trick. But whatever it was, it made Mortal Kombat a gaming staple for generations (until Street Fighter took over its mantle). So, more nostalgia to come as Warner Bros. Interactive is set to bring Mortal Kombat to Android this April.

Battle of Toys is a violent version of Toy Story

What would happen if the toys in your room suddenly came to life? If they're anything like Woody and Buzz, you already know the answer to that. But if you happen to have a collection of battle hardened, heavy armored, and weaponized action figures, well, you've got a problem on your hands. Almost quite literally. Battle of Toys is exactly what its name says: a fight to the finish in miniature doses.

Marvel Contest of Champions lands a blow on Android

Marvel and fighting games fans will have something to drool over, or conversely to pan, on Android now that Contest of Champions is finally here. Marvel's highly hyped mobile game, developed by Kabam, promised a lot of things, especially console-level graphics quality and intuitive touch controls. But are they able to deliver all those as well as a game that doesn't feel like "yet another" mobile game?
