Time to get social folks! In just a few days time you'll be able to get your hands all over the all-new Facebook experience on Android, simply called Facebook Home. If you want an even deeper experience the HTC first smartphone will also be available on the same day, April 12th, for you to enjoy Facebook in all its glory. Facebook Home to launch in Canada in the coming weeks
Facebook Home is set to arrive on the Google Play Store for Android come April 12th, but it will only be available in the U.S. and will be limited to a select few Android smartphones only. Mostly from HTC and Samsung, but don't worry folks because more users should get it soon. Reports are now confirming that Facebook's new Home will launch in Canada a few weeks after the U.S.

HTC M4 looks to be the HTC First, but without Facebook Home
The HTC First, the phone that is going to come pre-loaded with Facebook Home was announced yesterday. This handset is going to be available for pre-order next week and will be selling for $99.99 on a two-year agreement with AT&T. The catch here, while the HTC First is a low priced device, given the Facebook Home aspect, it is aimed only at those who cannot live without Facebook. This is where the HTC M4 may come into play though, as another low priced HTC device, but one without the deep Facebook integration.

Yesterday Facebook and HTC finally announced their joint venture into another Facebook Phone, although this time it truly is more of a Facebook Phone than the previous failures. We've been seeing mixed feelings and reports on the entire idea, and it's safe to say we have our own doubts. However, there is one awesome fact about the HTC first. It runs stock Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean under the Facebook Home launcher.

Today Zuckerberg came out swinging in the world of Android with their all-new approach called Facebook Home. The software brings the social site deeper into Android than ever before, and everything is as integrated as humanly possible. It isn't a fork in the Android OS, but it might as well be. Facebook Home support for future devices detailed – Samsung up next
So you don't want a new smartphone and are happy with your Samsung Galaxy S III or a newly purchased HTC One, how can you try Facebook Home? Well, it will be available in the Google Play Store come April 12th as a free download. There's a few caveats though. It won't support all devices, at least not at first, but Facebook promises monthly updates and support for a wide array of smartphones and tablets coming soon.
