Samsung strikes patent deal with Ericsson

It looks like Samsung has learned a valuable lesson. A recent agreement with the EU gave them breathing room for five years, in which they promised to ease up on the patent litigation. Yesterday, we learned of their important deal with Google, in which some cross-patent work can be done with ease. Now, they’ve signed a similar deal with Ericsson, the former Sony partner, who hold a plethora of mobile patents.

ST-Ericsson’s NovaThor mobile processors might not be a household name, but they've been putting a lot of effort lately into their mobile lineup. For those that are unaware, their processors power the Galaxy S III Mini, the Sony Xperia Go, and a few other mid-range devices from yester-year. However their new quad-core 3.0 GHz silicon is claiming to be the world's fastest mobile CPU.

The New Sony Walkman?

Last week we let you know that there may be a new Walkman by Sony in the works. Today a leaked picture of what could be the new Android powered walkman has surfaced. The rumor said the device will look similar to an X10 Mini and the device in the picture fits that description.

Acer Android beTouch E120 – Video

Don’t be alarmed, the title is similar to the last but it isn’t the same story (not exactly). This is another Android 1.6 device by Acer that has been recently announced at this year’s Computex. This version shares a few things in common with the E130 as you will see later.
