Motorola Admiral, Samsung Epic 4G Touch, and HTC EVO Design 4G Leaked

It's that time again ladies and gentlemen, time to trust the word of a dude with a single black and white graphic. This particular graphic was passed to Engadget sometime in the night on August 8th, 2011, and points toward three new devices to be released on WiMAX in the very near future. The first of these is a very obvious version of the Samsung Galaxy S II, that being the Epic 4G Touch, the next being a next-gen HTC device by the name of HTC EVO Design 4G, the last being the only one of three to not tote the 4G tag, this one being the Motorola Admiral - a mystery device to be sure.

Samsung Sued by Apple Over Look and Feel of iProducts

I suppose it was only a matter of time before this sort of thing happened - Apple Inc has officially sued Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. saying that their Android line of products too closely resemble Apple's own iPhone and iPad lines. In particular, they've said that the Korean-based electronics group copied the look and feel of it's iProducts to create the "Galaxy S 4G," "Epic 4G," "Nexus S" and the "Galaxy Tab" touchscreen tablet.

Sprint Special Event at CTIA Invites Sent Out

Sprint has just sent out some fabulously well-formatted invites to publishers across the board today, us included, for what appears to be an announcement event at this year's CTIA in Orlando Florida. It's approximately time for Sprint to be letting loose another phone (or similar such device) and we're interested to see how much Android is actually floating around inside it. This event will of course be in Orange County along with the rest of the CTIA festivities, so we hope we'll be able to pick a few off the nearby trees for sustenance during the keynote.

But it seems now that the issue is more involved than previously thought as Sprint has completely suspended the Froyo roll-out until they can figure out where the issue really lies.

Samsung Epic 4G Reportedly Being Updated to Android 2.2 December 26th

With the holiday season in full swing, getting a bunch of presents (or even just one present) is something to look forward to. It looks like Samsung is ready to give owners of the Epic 4G, the Galaxy S variant that released earlier in the year for the Sprint Network. If a leaked screen shot is any indicator, then Sprint is getting ready to release the Android 2.2 update in an Over the Air update, beginning the day after Christmas.
