Sprint to release Android 2.1 update for Hero and Moment in the coming weeks?

As it stands right now we have only one 2.1 device, Google’s own Nexus One. 2.1 has been a hot commodity every since it debuted on January 5th on the Nexus. For whatever reason, it has yet to see light on any other non rooted Android handset. Even the mighty droid can’t seem to get an official 2.1 update. Sprint has promised earlier this year that it will indeed deliver 2.1 to their Hero and the Moment.

AT&T Has Removed Google Search In Favor Of Yahoo

Things like this can be viewed as the bad side of having an open source platform. We all know Google's main source of income and the reason they make any product is focused on their ad revenues. Google Search is their main source of this income and it will be replaced on Google's own OS by one of its main competitors, Yahoo Search on the Motorola Backflip. Some speculate they their may be some disagreement between Google and Motorola but this is purely AT&T trying to keep Apple happy.
