Samsung and Chillingo “100% Indie” app portal opens for business

Samsung and Chillingo announced the 100% Indie app portal in early-February and coming as was promised, the portal has gone live. For those who missed that earlier bit, the 100% Indie app portal is promising to "inspire, promote and motivate game developers." At least in part, that motivation will come in the form of an attractive revenue share model.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out by EA blasts onto the Play Store

It's the Simpsons, you can't go wrong with them! Today Electronic Arts, better known as EA Games have released a neat new time wasting game to the Google Play Store. It's called The Simpsons: Tapped Out and is available completely free as we speak. You'll be playing Homer, who managed to blow up the entire city of Springfield.

Samsung, along with EA's mobile game publishing division, Chillingo have announced a new partnership that will bring something called 100% Indie. This program is aimed at increasing the availability of indie apps. The 100% Indie program is set to kick off on March 4 and takes its name from the revenue scheme.

Mass Effect: Infiltrator sneaks into the Play Store

OK, so the Mass Effect 3 live wallpaper wasn't exactly a star-studded Android debut for Bioware's massively popular sci-fi RPG franchise. But now Android gamers can finally get their hands on Mass Effect: Infiltrator, the mobile prequel to Mass Effect 3. The EA game is available now on the Google Play Store for $6.99... just ten weeks after it was released on iOS. Hooray!

EA Sports releases FIFA ’12 and NBA Jam for Android

EA Sports has just released two of their latest and greatest games for Android into the Google Play Store. Available today for around $5 is the new FIFA Soccor 2012 (football for the rest of the world) and NBA JAM. I personally have been waiting for NBA JAM but sadly like many of our readers, wont be able to enjoy it because they barely support any devices. Monopoly by EA finally in Android Market — tablet support not included

Yes! I get Boardwalk, Park Place, Waterworks, and all the railroads -- you can have the rest. EA has finally brought the popular game we should all still love to the Android Market -- Monopoly. It was originally exclusively available on the EA store and Amazon's App Store but now it can finally be purchased right in our very own Android Market.
