Aigo has two new Android MIDs in the works
A Chinese manufacturer by the name of Aigo has two Android MID’s in the making. The new tablets will come in a 5 and 7 inch version. Both will be running Android 1.6, there is no word on when or if these devices will be upgraded to Android 2.1.  Price is rumored to be around 1500 Yuan which is roughly $220 and will be released in May.

Alex eReader Orders Begin Today, Coming To Borders Stores Soon
After many delays, Spring Designs are finally ready to release the Alex eReader. This device gained popularity at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, but issues with e-commerce website delayed its release. You can't have an eReader without eBooks. Spring Designs has two content partners for the Alex in Google Books and Borders. Orders placed today will take up to four weeks to be delivered. Its ability to offer content in Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Hebrew is contributing to this delay.

The upcoming Streak from Dell, we all know it as the Mini 5, has a few services  from Amazon preinstalled. One of which is a Kindle app.  Amazon's MP3 store is expected since that’s already on several Android devices. On a promo picture for the Streak is has "Kindle Book Reader Applications" listed as well as a few other apps. Could Dell's Streak  usher in Amazon's digital book reader to Android?

1 Cross MID “hybrid” Concept
This will be the first MID in a series of products from 1 Cross. It's Android based and is a mix between an e-reader and a tablet. 1 Cross will name this hybrid the ShuBook which is Chinese for book. When closed it looks like a traditional book, open it up and you will reveal dual screens. One e-reader and a smaller screen with a built in qwerty keyboard.
