Hot Games for Xperia PLAY Launch Rundown

We were reeling when we saw the big fat list of Xperia PLAY optimized games that CNET Asia had prepared a couple of days ago. We were so excited, in fact, that our initial browsing of said list yielded only one overwhelming notion: there aren't that many new things here. How heart-wrenching! Then we got wise. There are some gems in there, starting with the second in a series of Dungeon Defenders.

Dungeon Defenders Updated to 4.0

Just last week Dungeon Defenders v3.0 was submitted to the Apple App Store for approval and the Android version would be released upon approval. However, this didn't pan out and V3.0 was not approved - so we get v4.0 along with a new array of features.

Dungeon Defenders, the First Unreal Engine Based Game, Available Now

It's no surprise that gaming has made a huge shift from dedicated devices such as the Nintendo DS and PSP to mobile phones. As phones becoming more and more powerful gaming becomes more of an option as they are made able to run intensive graphics. A perfect example of this is the first Unreal Engine game for Android, Dungeon Defenders, which is now available. Dungeon Defenders is a new 3D game that's mixes tower defense gameplay with some RPG elements. It's graphics are incredibly impressive for a mobile phone game and it's definitely worth checking out. Dungeon Defenders Coming to Android

The Dungeon Defenders team has just confirmed that the game will be coming to the Android platform. As part of the Unreal Engine adding Android support, we will see the game right before Christmas.
