Samsung Galaxy S II not coming til Q3
This doesn't sound good. I know good things come to those that wait, but these are very crucial times and everyone has been pushing hard to get the latest and greatest out in terms of android phones. According to some new information the Samsung Galaxy S II wont see a launch til at least Q3. This is not good news, but then again they are working with all carriers and will probably launch on Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint just like the first phone. So that might be part of the delay, that and building enough CPU's.

Motrola Xoom for Sprint appears again, with updated case
First off we heard a little rumor that Sprint was getting the Atrix and Xoom with Wimax, then we saw some pictures leak of the Motorola Xoom sporting a Sprint logo. Some people said it looked fake, or that it wasn't real. Now it seems to have reappeared again with the same Sprint logo, as well as the same updated portfolio case.

Samsung Galaxy S II Blows up the Quadrant Benchmark
We have all been seeing a lot of dual-core phones on the horizon, and one thing we always do first is a Quadrant benchmark or something of that sort. Now this does not represent real world testing, but it gives us a pretty good idea on what is to come. We have the Galaxy S II here ripping through any other stock quadrant score we've yet to see.

Motorola Droid X2 with Tegra 2 and high-res qHD Display confirmed again
Motorola has the popular Droid lineup that keeps getting better and better. With phones like the Droid, Droid2, the X, and now the Bionic on its way. They are all good phones but other than the Atrix Motorola hasn't shed much light on future phones and specs. Usually benchmarks don't give tons of information but we've recently found a story about a Droid X running some benchmark software that showed some unusual specs. A dual-core Tegra 2 and a high-res qHD display instead of the usual 854x480. Interesting news.

Samsung Galaxy S II get 1.2 Ghz dual core speed increase
The Samsung Galaxy S II looks to be a beast of a phone for anyone keeping score. With all its fancy features and that ultra fast dual-core processor. We have now heard a few reports that the dual-core 1.0 Ghz CPU inside this beast will be officially launching at 1.2 Ghz instead. A nice speed boost don't you think.

LG Readying to ‘Rewrite History’ with the Optimus 3D
LG hasn't been a key player in the phone market for quite some time, but they fully expect to change that in 2011 with device launches such as the Optimus 2X and Optimus 3D.
