Consumer Reports: iPhone 5s and 5c put against Verizon DROID lineup

There are plenty of available options in terms of device research these days. But that being said, Consumer Reports is one of the more respected names and they have recently published a report on the iPhone 5s and 5c. And for a bit of detail that will make some of the Android faithful smile, they placed those up against the Verizon Motorola DROID lineup -- with the Apple devices falling short in a few categories.

Motorola DROID 5 images surface with talk of a 4.3-inch 720p display

There isn't much talk about devices with hardware keyboards these days, however it looks like Motorola has one in the works. If the details that have come along with these leaked images are accurate -- it looks like we are getting another look at what will become the Motorola DROID 5. While we always try to be a bit skeptical with leaked images, we can say that this round of images does match up with the batch that leaked back in August.

DROID ULTRA with red-stripe confirmed as Employee Edition

An in-the-wild style image of a red stripped DROID ULTRA leaked a short time before the Verizon announcement. The handset was showing a Limited Edition marking and while it was believed to be something intended for employees, we had yet to see anything in terms of a confirmation. Well, coming by way of a recent product listing -- we can now say for sure that the red-stripped DROID ULTRA is only for Verizon employees.
