Motorola Droid X2 dual-core boot animation [video]
It looks like one more piece has just been leaked to go along with the many different things we have found for the Motorola Droid X2. First we saw benchmarks showing dual-core and the qHD 960x540 screen you can read all about that here. Now we have a boot animation showing the same DUAL CORE logo as the Motorola Xoom.

That was fast, before most people even got the OTA for the Motorola Droid X to Android 2.3 that we mentioned yesterday it has already been rooted by none other than TeamBlackHat. @P3Droid has already posted pictures on twitter of the About Page and superuser permissions being accessed. Cool!

Motorola Droid X2 Pictures leak, looks the same
Uh Oh, looks like the guys over at Android Central have scored a few pictures of the upcoming yet-unannounced Motorola Droid X2. It looks basically the same as little brother, or big little brother I should say. Since they are both very similar and basically the same size. The original X has the wisdom because he is older and wiser, but the new Droid X2 has the heart, and that heart is the fast pumping Tegra 2 dual-core CPU inside. That is the tie breaker here.

Motorola Droid X2 with Tegra 2 and high-res qHD Display confirmed again
Motorola has the popular Droid lineup that keeps getting better and better. With phones like the Droid, Droid2, the X, and now the Bionic on its way. They are all good phones but other than the Atrix Motorola hasn't shed much light on future phones and specs. Usually benchmarks don't give tons of information but we've recently found a story about a Droid X running some benchmark software that showed some unusual specs. A dual-core Tegra 2 and a high-res qHD display instead of the usual 854x480. Interesting news.

Droid X Gingerbread gets benchmarked
There's been some benchmarks released of the Droid X running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and the results are fairly impressive. The benchmarks were compaired to the previous Android 2.2 (Froyo) results. The tests feature some testing of heavy duty graphics and motion Fx in a game like atmosphere and it received a score of 1796, about a 700 point increase over the Froyo score. That's around a 30% increase in performance. It's amazing what a software update can accomplish.

Motorola Droid X also gets the Official 2.3.3 Gingerbread leak
What do we have here? I just got done mentioning that the Droid 2 got a 2.3 Gingerbread leak, and before I could finish the story I got word about some other even more exciting news. The Motorola Droid X is getting a very similar, if not the same leak. I'm assuming this will be bigger as more people have the Droid X. It is a sweet phone. Anyways lets skip the fun and get right to it.

Gameloft releases Asphalt 6 for Android
It looks as if Gameloft has quietly released the much anticipated racing game Asphalt 6 for Android recently. I've not heard anything about it. I didn't see it posted on @GameloftAndroid on twitter or anything. I'm not sure why it was such a quiet launch, but at least it is finally here. I think they are still working on it as not all phones can get it yet. I tried for the Atrix and the site said it was not released for that device yet.

Motorola Droid 3 leaks again with 5 Row Qwerty keyboard & dual core
For those that love Android (you all should) and also want a hardware keyboard on your phone, it looks like your next device has just been leaked to the interwebs, again. The Motorola Droid 3 was recently discovered by a few over at howardforums to be coming soon along with the Droid X2, and an unknown device called the Motorola Targa. You can read all about the first leak here.
