DROID 4 and DROID RAZR MAXX Official: Hands-on
Motorola and Verizon have officially launched the DROID 4 and DROID RAZR MAXX at CES this week, and we've got hands-on with both Android smartphones. As expected, the DROID 4 packs a slide-out five row QWERTY keyboard, while the RAZR MAXX takes the original styling of the DROID RAZR, makes it a little chunkier at 8.9mm thick, and uses that extra space to slot in a 3,300 mAh battery.

Fujitsu Arrows ES IS12F — world’s thinnest smartphone available Jan. 7th
If you thought the DROID RAZR was thin then you'll want to take a gander at the new Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F smartphone. The RAZR at the thinnest point comes in around 7.1mm but Fujitsu has taken things a step further and this beast measures a paper-thin 6.7mm thick. This phone was first spotted at the FCC back in November, but is now set to hit a few Japanese markets on January 7th.

Motorola DROID RAZR gets ClockworkMod, opens doors for fun
Motorola makes some great hardware and we all know that. Sadly almost all of them with the DROID RAZR included are extremely locked down and don't give the end user many options for modding or running custom ROM's. This is nothing new from Motorola and I won't even get into the fact that they claimed to be changing this policy. Either way we now have another victory and ClockworkMod recovery is now available on the RAZR.

Motorola DROID RAZR update slicing onto handsets today
We've mentioned the large bugfix and software update for the recently released DROID RAZR more than a few times already. Earlier this week Verizon released the official documents and update details and mentioned it was rolling out. Most users haven't seen the update yet but today Motorola themselves have confirmed users should have started getting the OTA as of yesterday.

Cee Lo hides white DROID RAZR in LA, Motorola gives away 6 more
Sprite spokesman, American Dad! guest star and occasional R&B singer Cee Lo Green has a white Motorola DROID RAZR, and he wants to give it to you. Not you, personally, but at least one of his Twitter followers, now numbered at about half a million. He's hidden it somewhere in Los Angeles, and will be tweeting out clues to its precise location on his official account, @CeeLoGreen. You probably shouldn't check under the big "W" in the Hollywood sign.

Motorola DROID RAZR update brings fixes for camera, data connection and more
Motorola and Verizon started testing a new update for the DROID RAZR early last week that was said to bring a slew of fixes and improvements to the razor sleek phone, and today it appears to be ready to slice and dice. Verizon has just outlined all the information and has let us know the update is on the way and users should be seeing the over the air update very soon.

Verizon’s white DROID RAZR on sale tomorrow, mum’s the word on the Galaxy Nexus
If you've been holding on to your three hundred bones, waiting on the prospect of chillier version of the Motorola DROID RAZR to land in time for Christmas, you needn't wait much longer. Verizon announced availability for the white variant via press release, just one day shy of its December 15th debut. Speed freaks and fashionistas can pick one up tomorrow at the regular $299 on-contract price.

DROID RAZR gets an early Ice Cream Sandwich ROM

Independent developers are hard at work on Ice Cream Sandwich for everything from the Nexus One to the HTC Rezound. But after the hue and cry surrounding the DROID RAZR's factory-locked bootloader, I thought that Verizon customers would have to wait for an official update before they could taste some sweet Ice Cream Sandwich. At least one dev, "DroidTh3ory", has stepped outside the walled garden and installed a bootable version of Android 4.0 on the DROID RAZR, by way of a dual-boot hack.

Motorola DROID RAZR gets a white version for December
Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like the world's most neutral color. In addition to a rather subdued DROID XYBOARD announcement, Verizon let slip that an all-white version of the Motorola DROID RAZR would be available this month. Aside from a frosty casing, there's no difference from the model that launched last month - you'll still need to fork over $299.99 and sign up for a new two-year contract, or be eligible for a renewal. A specific date was not mentioned.

Motorola DROID RAZRMAX spotted already
I'm not even sure where to start here but it appears that Verizon and Motorola might have another RAZR on the way. Already you ask? Don't worry I was thinking the exact same thing. We are now seeing some data that leads us to believe Motorola is prepping the DROID RAZRMAX with a higher resolution 1280 x 720 HD screen and a bigger battery. The original DROID RAZR was just released so this is pretty crazy to see coming so soon.
