Motorola phone appears in China – could be the DROID Blade

What we have here is a new Motorola phone that for now is a complete mystery. We've seen multiple Motorola phones head to Chinese markets only so chances are this could be a China exclusive. From what we are gathering this could be the rumored Motorola DROID Fighter from previous reports, although Fighter leaks had a more RAZR styling, or a new phone possible called the DROID Blade.

Motorola RAZR European edition update rolling out now

A new software update is rolling out starting today for the Motorola RAZR. This is not the DROID RAZR here on Verizon, and instead is the international and European model just named the Motorola RAZR. The European model is responsible for those leaked 4.0 builds too but today it is only getting Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.

Motorola details ICS updates, most devices will be waiting until Q3

Motorola has just updated their Android software update plan to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it isn't good news. It looks like the update to 4.0 ICS wont hit phones and tablets in the US until Q3 of 2012. Along with the news they've also released a list of devices up first for the updates. So far things aren't looking good for Bionic, RAZR, and DROID owners.

Motorola DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX update rolling out soon

Motorola is all set to roll out another update to the DROID RAZR starting today. Not only that but the same exact update will also be landing on the new DROID RAZR MAXX since they are essentially the same phone -- only one has a bigger battery. Motorola has announced a new variant of the RAZR, the RAZR XT910 Developer Edition, targeting coders with its unlockable bootloader. Currently up for pre-order in Europe, with a US version in the pipeline, the new RAZR is intended for developers looking to create and test Android apps on a recent handset.

That will get you an impressive smartphone that is just like its older brother, but with a huge 3,300 mAh battery. Today Wirefly has decided to top Verizon and are offering the phone on launch day for $70 dollars less -- just $229.

Verizon MAP leaks showing DROID 4, RAZR, and Bionic all getting prices slashed

Another document has leaked from Big Red showing Verizon's latest MAP (minimum advertised price) plans for many of their current and upcoming devices. It looks like starting today, January 26th many of the popular DROID models such as the RAZR and Bionic will receive discounts in their price. Right on time for the new DROID RAZR MAXX that launched today to be at the top spot.

Motorola RAZR Android 4.0 build leaks — Blur UI and all

Look what we have here folks. It appears a build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the recently released Motorola RAZR has leaked to the interwebs. I'll start by saying this is not for the DROID RAZR, and only for the GSM RAZR worldwide but it's a good sign indeed. With Moto's Blur UI barely noticeable I'm a little excited I must admit.

DROID RAZR MAXX release date tipped for the 26th

There's a whole new Motorola RAZR in town, and those of you that've already picked up the old one should know this: the release date has been tipped to us for the RAZR MAXX to be the 26th of January, 2012. This sits well with the perhaps accidentally dropped date (also the 26th shown on the Motorola site earlier this week (and subsequently taken down), this leading us to believe that, barring any newly discovered mishaps before then, we can expect a bigger and bolder RAZR in our very near future.
