Amazon App Store offering great deals for “Geek Week”
The Amazon App store isn't going anywhere anytime soon and the great ideas they have just keep getting better and better. Not only do they offer a free app of the day every single day, but now they look to be starting something called "Geek Week". It may not be every week but they are offering amazing Android apps that many power users (or geeks like myself) will find very useful all at extremely low prices.

Facebook for Android update available, Seems to add tablet support
Late last night Facebook for Android received another update and while it includes the usual bug fixes and performance comments most updates do, it doesn't however mention that now it works for tablets and is available for download. Don't get me wrong this is no where near a tablet user interface, something we desperately need for Honeycomb but it does seem to look ok and work pretty great too. More details past the break.

Motorola DROID 3 FM Radio App works for the Bionic too
I'm sure there is still plenty of users around these parts that uses the FM radio feature of their Android phone. When the DROID 3 came out and indeed had FM radio support and a fancy app to go with it many users liked it. The Droid Bionic sadly does not share this same app for some odd reason and according to specs the Droid Bionic doesn't have an FM radio. Although using the DROID 3 APK we've quickly learned it does indeed have a FM radio, and it works great.

HTC Flyer Honeycomb Screenshots and Instructions Appear
In case you were all busy preparing for this holiday weekend, Friday we brought news regarding Honeycomb on the HTC Flyer. What happened is a RUU build of Honeycomb 3.2 with Sense UI for tablets was leaked for the HTC Flyer, a device we still weren't sure would even get the update to Honeycomb in the first place. MoDaCo's Paul O'Brien and many others have been working hard and things are developing already.

ScreenCast App Review, Screen Recorder for Android
Today I found a new application for Android that looked pretty awesome, it's called Screen Cast. This is a screen capture and screen recording application for Android smartphones and tablets. Obviously something like this will require root access, but that is to be expected. In the market now by Media Solutions they have both a free version to test the app and try all of the features, as well as a paid version for $2.99 for those wanting to record for a bit longer.

HTC Incredible Android 2.3 Gingerbread now rolling out
I must say that was pretty fast HTC. Just a few short days ago they mentioned the Thunderbolt and Incredible would both get 2.3 Gingerbread in September. Now two or so days later it appears the Incredible is already getting the OTA update because it's hitting handsets right this minute. If you are confused, the update was started back on the 15th but was quickly delayed for a few bugs HTC or Verizon found.
