Dolphin Browser HD, has received a quick update today in the Google Play Store bringing lots of new changes. For one, they changed the name and simply removed the "HD" tag for some reason, then they've improved tons of visuals and performance of the app. More details below.

Dolphin Browser HD remains a favorite for power users, including those of us here at Android Community. The latest update adds a bevvy of new features, mostly surrounding Dolphin's evolving user interface. The biggest change is a new menu bar that slims down the old double-row interface and hides a lot of the less immediate menu options behind more stylish icons, allowing users to keep an eye on more of the web window at once. Dolphin HD has just recently received an update. Though improvements were minor, they will appeal to many. Backup data written to the SD is now encrypted, the option to disable the Toggle Webzine button was added, and by popular demand they've brought back the double-tap to exit feature.
current version 7 have raised the eyebrows of some users over at the ever-inventive XDA-Developers forum. According to forum poster "Fnorder", the new Webzine feature records every link, search and visited page and sends them to a remote server. If true, the breach of Dolphin users' privacy is very disturbing indeed. UPDATE: In response to the security and privacy concerns, the makers of Dolphin Browser have disabled the Webzine feature. According to the developer, user browsing data was never saved, and users' security has not been compromised.
Dolphin. Dolphin HD7 includes a bookmark sync feature, backing up your bookmarks to Dolphin's servers, not unlike Chrome or Firefox Sync.
being in beta for a while. Along with the updated version comes some great new changes and improvements. One important note is the main app no longer has ads integrated. Before users needed an add-on that removed ads or had to pay for Dolphin. Version 5.0 is now ad-free.
