Facebook Home update will return our standard Android icon dock

The folks from Facebook have apparently been having a pretty good month if recently released numbers are accurate, but changes are still coming to Facebook Home. Today they revealed more than 1 million users downloaded Home, and those who still enjoy it use Facebook 25% more. After many complaints however changes are coming, and Facebook is giving us back our standard Android icon dock we all love, and need.

Today it arrived for the low price of $29.99, and you can get one right this minute for our favorite 7-inch slate.

Nexus 7 dock now shipping to those in the US

We had seen plenty of expected shipping dates for the Nexus 7 dock, however as of today -- it has begun shipping. This applies to those in the US, however it looks like the dock is only shipping with one retailer at the moment. Those looking to make a purchase will want to head to the ExcaliberPC.com website where the dock is priced at $39.99.

We've all been longing for some official accessories or docks for our Nexus 7 tablets, and it looks like the wait will just be a few more days. Late last month we reported the official ASUS Nexus 7 dock should be available later in the month but that never happened. Online retailers such as B&H Video are still accepting pre-orders though.

The Nexus 7 dock first leaked way back at the end of July. Since then we have heard various rumors suggesting a release timeframe with the latest calling for a release this month. Samsung Mobile audio dock images leak before CES reveal

While speaker docking stations are nothing new, it looks like the folks from Samsung are preparing to release a few dual-speaker docking stations to accompany their popular Galaxy smartphones. Some new photos have leaked out, while a bit fuzzy, showing a Samsung branded speaker dock for their mobile devices that we could be seeing next month at CES.

What we have for you this fine Friday afternoon is the first sighting of an official accessory for our beloved Nexus 7. Accessories and docks for Nexus devices have been a bit of a mystery in the past. We still never saw a few of those Galaxy Nexus options Samsung showed off, and we've been seeing mockups for the Nexus 7 for months. Today however it just got as official as ever. This weekend the official docking station for the Nexus 7 made by ASUS has leaked to the internet. We've seen reports and hints at a dock coming soon, but this appears to be rather legit. Official accessories have been pretty rare but thanks to ASUS Japan we now have another look at this upcoming docking station for our favorite Android tablet.

The ASUS Transformer tablet really started a new trend in the world of tablets. Many have tried to offer similar options but ASUS is still leading the pack. As usual, those Chinese manufacturers have came up with their own alternative for half the cost. Meet the Aocos PX102 "Hummingbird" tablet with a 1.6 GHz processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and of course a Transformer-styled keyboard dock.

Lenovo announces IdeaTab ICS tablet family – keyboard dock included

Lenovo has just announced an entire family of new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablets here at IFA in Berlin, Germany, and we have all the details. Today they've actually kicked off by re-introducing the IdeaTab S2110 (known as the Lenovo S2) tablet hybrid rocking a keyboard dock similar to the Transformer Prime as shown below.
