Moto X leak tips a wrap-around “Magic Glass” design

The Moto X launch event is almost here, however it looks like the rumors and leaks are going to continue right up until that time. Looking at a few of the leaks and there has been talk of the handset arriving with something called "Moto Magic Glass." This is described as being a single sheet of Gorilla Glass that wraps around the front edges of the device.

LG Display introduces world’s slimmest full HD smartphone LCD

LG Display has introduced a super-slim full HD LCD panel, which it says is the world's slimmest offering in its category. The display measures in at 5.2-inches, and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, with the goal being to reduce the overall thickness, weight, and "grip-ability" of modern handsets. There wasn't any word on when the LCD will be made available.

GlassUp glasses launching as a second screen for your smartphone

A big item of discussion lately seems to be focused on getting details of incoming messages from your smartphone without having to remove it from your pocket. We have seen plenty of smartwatches, which are essentially serving as a second-screen for your phone. And well, it looks like we now have a similar setup being done with a pair of glasses. These are called GlassUp and have recently launched as an Indiegogo offering.

Recon Jet Pilot Edition pre-orders launch with Tour De France pricing

Recon Instruments unveiled the Recon Jet wearable computing glasses back during Google I/O and as of today we have a bit of follow-up in terms of the pricing and availability. And in a bit of good news for those who may have been waiting, pre-orders for the Recon Jet glasses will be available as of today. These will be the 'Pilot Edition' and they are sitting with a price tag of $499.

Google Glass expected to use Samsung OLED displays

We still have some time before Google releases Glass for consumers, however it looks like the display technology may have been decided. Based on details coming out of a recent Korea Times report, Google will be using Samsung’s organic light-emitting diode technology (OLED) for Glass. For now the details are coming by way of still unnamed sources.

New Nexus 7 reportedly shipping now, launching next month

As we all know, Google I/O this year didn't have any crazy new hardware announcements or a change in the Android OS version. With speculation of a new Nexus 7, Motorola's X-Phone, or even an LTE Nexus 4 we were all excited. Don't worry though, because it's all still coming. Touch screen computer monitors running Android are on the horizon

It's difficult to set most computer monitors apart from other products on the market for manufacturers. There are number of units that offer touch support for computers running Microsoft Windows 8 and other operating systems, and most of them are virtually identical. An analyst from a company called WitsView believes that computer monitors featuring integrated Android operating system will be coming to the market soon.
