Recon Jet Pilot Edition pre-orders launch with Tour De France pricing

Recon Instruments unveiled the Recon Jet wearable computing glasses back during Google I/O and as of today we have a bit of follow-up in terms of the pricing and availability. And in a bit of good news for those who may have been waiting, pre-orders for the Recon Jet glasses will be available as of today. These will be the 'Pilot Edition' and they are sitting with a price tag of $499.

Google Glass expected to use Samsung OLED displays

We still have some time before Google releases Glass for consumers, however it looks like the display technology may have been decided. Based on details coming out of a recent Korea Times report, Google will be using Samsung’s organic light-emitting diode technology (OLED) for Glass. For now the details are coming by way of still unnamed sources.

New Nexus 7 reportedly shipping now, launching next month

Touch screen computer monitors running Android are on the horizon

It's difficult to set most computer monitors apart from other products on the market for manufacturers. There are number of units that offer touch support for computers running Microsoft Windows 8 and other operating systems, and most of them are virtually identical.
