Is Orange Fr. The European Version Of AT&T?

We're all aware of AT&T's recent Android releases with certain Google apps removed or replaced. These are the most restricted Android devices on the market today. Orange may be following suit with their upcoming Android devices. Google Maps, Youtube, Gmail, Gtalk and possibly Search too will all be removed in their devices.

Orange launches its all-white Sony Ericsson X10

It does exist!! The all white version of the X10 has been listed on Orange’s order page. This is my personal favorite off all the X10’s including the Mini’s. If this would’ve come out sooner, I would’ve been the first in line to get it.

Desire and Legend Rooted Already

Well, looks like it has happened again. Modaco, the same guy that rooted the Nexus One before it was released, just achieved root on the Desire and Legend before they have been released. HTC must’ve gotten wind of this because they are now working on an update to the Desire’s firmware which will most likely patch this exploit before it is released.

HTC Legend ready for pre-order on Vodafone UK

With the recent announcement of the HTC EVO 4G and all the news on the Desire, the HTC Legend is still managing to stay in the news. This is one of the sexiest Android devices to date with its high quality aluminum unibody chassis and Sense UI under the hood.  This beauty has just popped up on Vodafone UK’s preorder page.

HTC Desire: Black Edition Headed to Orange UK

A few weeks back we uncovered the existence of the highly anticipated HTC Desire in an all black color scheme. Before then this phone was only seen in gray and even white. Now it has been confirmed via twitter, by Conor Maples who happens to be the PR man at Orange, that it will be available in April.

SlashGear Reviews The X10

Another Android best has been handled by our friends from Slashgear. Earlier today they brought us one of the first unboxing of the highly anticipated HTC Desire. This time around, they are one of the first to review of the equally anticipated Sony Xperia X10. We’ve known, and wanted, this phone since around last October. Since then there has been multiple powerful Android handsets announced for release this year. So is it too little to for Sony or will this be their knight in shining armor.

HTC Desire Confirmed for March 29th Delivery in the UK

This little tidbit of information was brought to our attention not too long ago. A user in the T-Mobile's discussion forum has received a confirmation email from T-Mobile that said his phone was in their stock and will be delivered on March 29th. Some of you lucky enough to have ordered this, only have four days until it’s in your sweaty palms. Looks like it’s time to start stalking the delivery guy again. Let the countdown begin. This was undoubtedly the hottest Android phone around the web until the recent announcement by Sprint introducing the HTC EVO 4G. Nonetheless, this is still the most “Desired” phone among fans of Android. And if you choose the right plan, it can be yours for free. These next few months we are going to see a few powerful Android devices enter into the market from various manufacturers’. I can’t wait to see what’s next; I’m still waiting on a good physical keyboard “Superphone” to be caught in some spy pictures. [via t-mobile]
