It appears, according to a source reporting to German Android website HTC Inside, a stocklist from Vodafone has just had a new phone by the name of Desire 2, aka HTC Desire 2, entered in. Does this point toward imminent release as well as an announcement in Barcelona? We’ve got a hunch.

Many users are starting to notice that an update is available for the original HTC Desire. The update, version 2.29.405.5 is said to fix some minor bugs in the device’s Android 2.2 operating system.
