Gamestick delayed yet again, set to ship October 29th

The PlayJam Gamestick mini Android console has seen its share of delays and issues, but sadly we have another one to report. After pushing back and delaying the launch more than a few times, we're now hearing October 29th will be the official launch date. This kickstarter backed Android-powered gaming device still has interest, but they better hurry and get it in the hands of gamers and developers.

Asphalt 8: Airborne delayed by Gameloft as fakes hit the Play Store

If you're like us and got excited watching Google demo the impressive looking new racing title Asphalt 8: Airborne by Gameloft during their Nexus 7 announcement, we have some bad news. After Google spilled the beans early, Gameloft officially confirmed that their new title would hit Android devices on August 8th, that's tomorrow. However, this afternoon we've been informed of a slight delay.

Tweetdeck lives a little longer with Twitter API v1 extension

Just when I was starting to come to the sad realization that Tweetdeck was shutting down, and Twitter would be retiring their original v1 API on May 7th, we learn that they've extended the date. For those confused, many original legacy Twitter clients like the super popular Tweetdeck all run on v1, and once it's retired they'll no longer work. Twitter confirmed today they've delayed the retirement date.

HTC: No injunction in Netherlands, HTC One will not be delayed

This week we've heard and reported a few details regarding a lawsuit from Nokia aimed right at HTC and their new flagship One smartphone. The word on the street was Nokia sued over some microphones in the One, and received an injunction against the smartphone. However, today HTC has confirmed that isn't accurate and their smartphone will continue to be available worldwide with no further delays.

Samsung’s flexible AMOLED display technology delayed

We've been hearing quite a bit regarding Samsung's extremely impressive and exciting flexible display technology for smartphones and tablets, but are now receiving some bad news. Multiple reports have started to surface stating that Samsung has yet again suffered a few setbacks, and their flexible YOUM displays could be delayed once more.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z delayed until May [UPDATE]

Sony initially released their new Xperia Tablet Z back on March 22nd in Japan, but everywhere else is still waiting for its arrival. Initial reports when they revealed the sleek slate at Mobile World Congress stated an April release, but it seems the dates been pushed back to at least late May, and could fall even further behind schedule.

HTC: One pre-orders shipping by ‘End of March’

We never technically got an actual release or launch date from HTC regarding their flagship One smartphone, although many UK retailers have confirmed March 15th was the day. We haven't heard a word from US carriers regarding the launch, but earlier today UK retailer Clove confirmed the device has been delayed by HTC. Sadly it won't arrive until the end of March. After reaching out to confirm with HTC, the details below are what we received in reply.

After being revealed ahead of Mobile World Congress with a big push to beat Samsung and their Galaxy S4 to the punch, it looks like the smartphone will be facing delays. Amazon Kindle smartphone coming in June as rumors fire back up

With new rumors floating around the Facebook will be attempting to make another Facebook phone, we're now seeing a few reports surface about the often-rumored Amazon Kindle smartphone. Apparently the phone is real, coming soon, but facing some delays and won't be here as soon as Amazon was hoping. The release date was scheduled for Q2 of this year, but a few issues will see the handset delayed until further notice.
