LG Optimus 4X HD hands-on from CTIA

LG's latest flagship made its American debut here at CTIA 2012, and we couldn't resist taking another peek. The Optimus 4X HD crams the best of LG's mobile technology into a superphone form factor that takes on the likes of the HTC One X, and not just because it's also using an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The phone is scheduled for release in South Korea and Europe this summer.

HTC One V tipped for American release at CTIA

We reported earlier that HTC confirmed its intention to bring the HTC One V to the United State,s but was exceedingly vague about carriers, prices and dates more precise than "summer". Here at CTIA 2012 in New Orleans, it looks like HTC is setting up for a major One series reveal - observe the press passes being handed out at the conference. We'll likely hear about carriers and dates in the next couple of days.

Cobra unveils Android PhoneLynx at CTIA

I always think of radar detectors and CB radios when I hear the Cobra name, but the company has branched out a lot lately with new gear that targets mobile users. The first Mobile phone product I mentioned from the company was the iRadar for Android. Cobra has unveiled a new product at CTIA for Android folks that use a mobile phone only called PhoneLynx.

Sprint to launch EVO line of Tablets and 3D Phones

The talk of the town this weekend is that Sprint is rumored to be launching a new tablet based on the EVO line of Android handsets. The EVO View is likely to come with a dual core Tegra 2 dual core processor and could be a CDMA version of the HTC Flyer. In addition, Sprint is looking to add 3D to it's next generation EVO cellphones which will be aptly named the EVO 3D. And it may even run on 4G.

Motorola Spice Heading to Brazil, Features Android 2.1

Motorola's time at CTIA tonight was busy, as the company released a handful of devices, and as the Spice showcases, they're not all meant for the United States. While the Spice is definitely the Motorola XT300 from a ways back, it's now got an official name, and it just landed in the Brazilian market. Unfortunately, it's not the fastest, or most "up to date" device on the market, especially considering it's a brand new device. Though, that portrait slider may make it interesting enough to give a second look at.

Dell Aero hands-on and UI walkthrough – Video

Like most new phones, AT&T and Dell are trying to keep the information on this phone tight lipped until they are ready to officially introduce it. Engadget managed to get some hands on time with the Aero at this year’s CTIA and there were a few surprises packed into this phone. Needless to say they are not the type of surprises we like around here.

Samsung Galaxy S CTIA presentation now online

Up until Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G, this was the most talked about phone around the web. Since then, there has been little to no coverage on this device. Samsung is now making a conscious effort to try and bring this phone back into the spotlight. It is a pretty impressive device by the way.
