PCMag goes Hands-On with the Huawei Glory – Inexpensive Gingerbread Superphone
This is one of those times when you should get excited about an oddity. You know good and well, if you've been following along diligently, that yours truly loves the oddness, and when that oddness comes out arms swinging with a 4-inch 854x480 pixel resolution display, 8-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread in tow, it's time to report. What this device is known as is the Huawei M886 aka Cricket Glory or Huawei Glory. From now on let's just call it Glory. It's got a 1.4-Ghz single-core processor and it'll cost you under $300 pre-paid. Sound like the deal for you?

Huawei Ascend update to Android 2.2 Available Now, Use Caution
Today Metro PCS announced the Huawei Ascend upgrade to Android 2.2 is now available. The Ascend launched back in December and even though this is only for Android 2.2 at least it is seeing the update faster than many other phones in the past. There is no talk regarding Gingerbread for now but an update is an update right.

Samsung Indulge heads to Cricket and packs a punch
Cricket Wireless just got what we would call a nice mid-range Android phone named the Samsung Indulge. It looks like a mini Samsung Epic in a way and features some similar hardware inside making it a great phone for those on Cricket. It comes with Android 2.2 on board with a 1 Ghz processor, 3.5" display, Touch Wiz 3.0 and the weakest link would be the 3 MP camera on the rear but that is plenty for those Facebook photos right? All this for the low price of $329. Not bad when you don't have to sign a contract of any sort.

Missing Cricket Android Costume Recovered
Remember all the way back yesterday when there was a story about an Android falling off a truck? Turns out they found it at night, and it's been recovered with minor damage. This completely epic story now comes to a close with a $1,000 reward being given out to a miss Amber Conky who found the costume by her apartment building's dumpster. Totally epic.

Giant Android Falls off Truck on the Interstate
MAN it is a weird day for news. We've just received a tip to take a peek over at a news site in Cincinnati - WLWT where Cricket Wireless say they've lost a life-size Android costume off the back of a truck on the interstate. Seems suspicious, as furthermore the costume has been valued at $4,500 while they're offering a $1,000 reward for it's safe return.

Kyocera Zio for Cricket Now Available, Just $249.99
Cricket isn't as large as, say, Verizon. But that's not stopping them from bringing an Android-powered device to the market. The Zio is a handset that we've known about for a few months now, and we know there's a few Cricket customers out there who've been waiting patiently for it to officially release. Well, today you can mark on your calendar as the day it came to be.
