Google held an Android Developers Challenge and handed out lots of prizes shortly after the Android OS was launched. Google is now gearing up for the next developers challenge that will offer $2 million in prizes to winners. The second challenge has a different format than the original had and the Android community will play a role in picking winners. Starting in late August a voting application will be published on the Android Market that will let users sample submissions for the contest.
