NVIDIA SHIELD gets a Black Friday price cut

It looks like NVIDIA is trying to further tempt those who have been considering picking up a SHIELD game system. For Black Friday, or more specifically, for the Black Friday weekend, NVIDIA has lowered the price and is also including a few extras. And just to clarify the weekend timeframe, the Black Friday SHIELD offer will come to a close at 11:59 PST on December 2nd, 2013.

OUYA upcoming update will change how the interface looks

The OUYA gaming console, which has only been on retail for less than a month, has undoubtedly started a new kind of Android gaming scene. But like with any pioneer or trendsetter, there will always be some things that it won't get right at first, such as the initial user interface for the system. That will, however, soon change once the new update rolls out that will subtly yet effectively change how the OUYA presents games.

Mad Catz MOJO console pricing and availability details revealed

Mad Catz began showing off the MOJO game console back in June, during E3. The system appears to be arriving as a competitor to the OUYA, however given the processor we cannot help but make the comparison to the NVIDIA SHIELD. While not a portable device like the SHIELD, the MOJO console will be arriving with an NVIDIA Tegra 4 T40S 1.8GHz processor. And in a bit of good news for those who may have been waiting -- the price has been revealed and pre-orders are now available.

GameStick game console to finally ship in September

Majority of Android gamers are probably familiar with the OUYA gaming console which is probably one of the most successful technology-related Kickstarter so far. Some, however, might also be aware of another rather similar Kickstarter console named GameStick. After months of delays, the device might finally land in the hands of backers and buyers by the middle of September.
