Acer has definitely been busy. At Computex this week, it has unveiled not one, not two but four new smartphones. Members of this batch include the LTE Liquid X1, the entry-level Liquid Z200, and the 5-inch Liquid E600 and Liquid E700 pair.
ASUS has released its second teaser video leading up to Computex 2014 next week. This time, the hints are somewhat more obvious, which could be pointing to a new PadFone that comes complete with a keyboard dock.
While the US is waiting for AT&T to finally let release the PadFone X to the market, the rest of the world might not have to wait much longer. At Computex next week, ASUS is expected to launch the PadFone S, which is practically the same PadFone X except meant for international markets.
Coming out of Computex, Toshiba has unveiled a trio of Tegra powered tablets all of which are sporting 10.1-inch displays and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The new lineup consists of the Excite Pure, Excite Pro and Excite Write. Availability will begin later this month and expand to additional retailers in July. In the meantime, Toshiba has offered up plenty of spec related details.
Today the folks from ASUS had plenty to announce at Computex 2013, and their new Transformer Book Trio is the oddest of the bunch, but looks pretty interesting. In what they're calling the "world's first three-in-one notebook, tablet, and desktop PC." The Transformer Book Trio does it all. Runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Windows 8, and even can be your desktop PC if you'd like.
This morning the team at ASUS has been quite busy. The folks from ASUS just announced a slew of new products on the first day of Computex 2013 in Taiwan. From a 6-inch FonePad Note to take on Samsung's GALAXY to tons of tablets and more. One that stood out however, is the New Transformer Pad Infinity complete with an ultra HD display and NVIDIA's new quad-core Tegra 4 processor.
ASUS had been teasing a 6-inch note-taking tablet ahead of Computex and now that the show has officially kicked off, there has been an announcement for the FonePad Note. ASUS has yet to announce every detail that we were hoping to see, however we do know the FonePad Note will be launching with a 6-inch Super IPS+ display and powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz Atom Z2560 processor.
ASUS has dropped a teaser ahead of their Computex announcement and interestingly enough, they have done so using a plastic model and a series of images. The images show the process of building an Android robot named DROID MARK II. They have this little green guy sitting with a model number of N6-TE and some of the pieces look to represent some of the functionality.
We have been seeing a lot of teaser videos lately for the annual Computex 2013 event coming up shortly, and today Acer has joined in on the action. Today they've released a new teaser video for the event that's quite funny, while also hinting at some possible Android/Windows hybrid tablets. Teasing us with tablets covered in an Android-green cloth, and that's all we get.
With Computex quickly approaching it's about time we start seeing teaser videos and hints at what companies might be bringing to the show, and today ASUS has done just that. The folks from ASUS released a quick Computex 2013 teaser trailer, and mention the word "Transform" about 4 times and it has our interest piqued.
