If you're an Indy racing fan, Verizon has a cool new service that will help you keep up on your favorite racing team ... Team Verizon! The spot is for the Indy Car Mobile app, which follows the IZOD Indy Car Series. With the app, users can listen to in car audio, keep track of races with leader boards, highlights, and even special tweets from the drivers (I hope while not racing!). Upcoming features to include live in-car camera for Verizon sponsored drivers, press conference streaming and Indy Car Nation exclusive content. According to the YouTube page, the app currently follows Indy racers Will Power, Helio Castroneves & Ryan Briscoe.
A new Verizon commercial about the HTC Thunderbolt has hit the airwaves and it's focus is how fast it can work on the Verizon 4G network. The ad, shows presents a near real time capability of the phone to transmit video over the Verizon network as it's user attaches it to a radio controlled helicopter in order to broadcast a message of a party he's having that night. Then, with the party in full swing, users are treated to a music video that is wirelessly streamed from the Thunderbolt to a video projector screen. Verizon is clearly positioning the Thunderbolt to those who feel the need for speed. But is the Thunderbolt really THAT fast, or is it a case of commercial artistic license?
It’s about time Sprint placed this beauty on television. The first EVO 4G commercial has just leaked and its pretty good. The theme of this ad is “first”, as we all know, the EVO is the first 4G Android device to hit the US and the first 4G phone period to be offered.
