Pie Controls come to CyanogenMod 10 to give you more screen real estate

The folks from CyanogenMod took to their Google+ page earlier today to announce an awesome new feature that is now available on many CM10 nightly builds. It's called Pie Controls, and is popular with many Android ROM's, especially Paranoid Android. We first saw Pie Controls in the now replaced stock browser in Honeycomb, but starting today they'll be available in a completely different way.

CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies land for Verizon Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7

They've been working hard on CM10.1, which is the absolute latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, and have now begun nightly builds for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus 7 3G and a few others. CyanogenMod Music Player Apollo hits the Google Play Store

The official music player and Google Music option for CyanogenMod since CM9, Apollo, is finally available for everyone, not just those running the popular Android custom ROM. The app is called Apollo and this weekend it finally arrived in the Google Play Store for all to enjoy. Their slogan is "illuminate your music" and their app will do just that for you.

CyanogenMod domain shuts down after extortion attempt [Update]

Some sad news has appeared over the past few hours regarding the most popular and biggest community developed ROM for Android. No, our beloved CyanogenMod ROM isn't going anywhere but their domain, official site, entire history, and email has all been shut down and compromised as of late. Sadly when things get big sometimes greed gets involved and that's exactly the case here.
