CyanogenMod 10.1 RC3 drops ahead of ‘final’ release

CyanogenMod 10.1 RC1 dropped earlier in the month. The RC1 release brought an initial support for roughly 40 devices with talk about how it would be "one of (if not the last) milestone releases before a 10.1.0 is pushed out.” With that in mind, CyanogenMod 10.1 RC2 ended up coming available about a week later and as of today, RC3 is available for download.

CyanogenMod 10.1 ‘final’ release nears as RC2 hits servers

CyanogenMod 10.1 RC1 was released last week. At that time the CyanogenMod folks mentioned that a final release was approaching quickly. There wasn't any timeline given, however it looks like today has brought things one step closer to that final release being available. As of today, CyanogenMod 10.1 RC2 is now available for download.

The popular developers behind CyanogenMod have finally released a nightly build of CM10.1 for the handset. Say goodbye to Sense, and Blinkfeed.

CyanogenMod 10.1.0 RC1 build arrives supporting 40 devices

Coming about a month after the M3 build landed, the folks at CyanogenMod have announced the immediate availability of the release candidate. Basically, CyanogenMod 10.1.0 has been released as RC1. This release comes with support for 40 devices and with a little bit of teasing in terms of a final build.

CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies arrive for the T-Mobile GALAXY S 4

We had previously seen details of CyanogenMod 10.1 running on the T-Mobile version of the GALAXY S 4. As of today however, it looks like we now have word that the nightly builds are available for those who want to begin playing. The details are coming by way of Steve Kondik who recently made mention that the T-Mobile GALAXY S 4 nightlies have arrived and that they will be porting CM10.1 to other variants when they get the devices.

The folks at CyanogenMod have pushed their latest round of milestone builds. These are arriving as the M3 builds and at this very moment, they happen to be available for select devices. These M 'milestone' builds are based on CM10.1, which means Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. A bit deeper on the information, these M builds are sort of in between the nightly and the stable builds.

NOOK Color gets Android 4.2 thanks to CyanogenMod 10.1

The popular Barnes & Noble NOOK Color tablet has been around for some time. It has seen its fair share of update from B&N specifically, but they've basically stopped any sort of support. While the device runs on Android we've seen various ROM's and development for the slate, and now Android 4.2 has arrived (and beat most tablets) thanks to those hard working developers.
