OUYA game console release was previously delayed until June 25th, however that doesn't seem to have stopped those who have one of the already available developer units. We know the OUYA team is friendly towards hacking and modding. In fact, they previously announced a MakerBot partnership that will allow users to create their own cases. More to the point for today though, those developers have already released a working version of CWM Recovery.

ClockworkMod and also recently released Carbon. On Carbon, he is responsible for the backup app, not the Twitter app. We can put that bit aside though because this latest app deals with the ClockworkMod side. The app is called ClockworkMod Superuser and it has been released as beta 0.
AT&T's Pantech Element tablet just today and immediately installed ClockworkMod recovery to, as it were, boot. The process is fairly simple as root goes: connect the tablet to your computer with ADB enabled, get into the fastboot interface, send over a custom image, then download a SuperUser app and you're done.
