Today, Rhapsody has removed this app out of beta. This app brings with it the ability to stream over 9.5 millions songs to your Android device.  So if you have a paid Rhapsody subscription, this is the app you have been waiting for. If you don’t have a subscription you can sign up for a seven day trial and see how it goes, you might love it and decide to keep it.

The official Android Community App is now in the market. It is a free download available for every version of Android. Sprint Announcing The EVO And New Data Plans Tomorrow?

An internal document was just leaked to the guys over at mobilecrunch. This document states that there will be a companywide meeting that outlines April marketing plans but, rumor has it that this will be no ordinary meeting. Some are calling it a top secret companywide mandatory meeting. The EVO wasn’t specifically mentioned in the document but let’s piece together this puzzle and see what we can make out it.

Samsung Galaxy S CTIA presentation now online

Up until Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G, this was the most talked about phone around the web. Since then, there has been little to no coverage on this device. Samsung is now making a conscious effort to try and bring this phone back into the spotlight. It is a pretty impressive device by the way.

Sprint announces more cities to receive WiMax 4G

With the anticipation building around the release of the first 4G phone, the Android powered HTC Supersonic, Sprint has just announced its plans to add 4G capabilities to more cities. This is a good strategy because it widens the appeal of having as 4G device to more potential customers.

MOTO BLUR Service Outage

The good news, it’s not just my Cliq. The bad news, there’s a MotoBlur service outage. I switched back to my Cliq today and to surprise all my widgets were blank, there’s wasn’t even old information in them like there usually is when there is a data problem. So I decided to hit the web and see if this was something bigger and turns out it is.

Gesture Search Now Available For 1.6

Google announced today that it has added support for all Android devices running 1.6 or higher. Initially, this was only available to phones that has 2.0 and up leaving only two Android’s capable of using this new feature.

Alex eReader Orders Begin Today, Coming To Borders Stores Soon

After many delays, Spring Designs are finally ready to release the Alex eReader. This device gained popularity at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, but issues with e-commerce website delayed its release. You can't have an eReader without eBooks. Spring Designs has two content partners for the Alex in Google Books and Borders. Orders placed today will take up to four weeks to be delivered. Its ability to offer content in Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Hebrew is contributing to this delay.

Kindle for Android Finally Coming Soon?

The upcoming Streak from Dell, we all know it as the Mini 5, has a few services  from Amazon preinstalled. One of which is a Kindle app.  Amazon's MP3 store is expected since that’s already on several Android devices. On a promo picture for the Streak is has "Kindle Book Reader Applications" listed as well as a few other apps. Could Dell's Streak  usher in Amazon's digital book reader to Android?

South Korea Could block The Android Market

Reports are starting to surface from South Korean government officials that the Android Market may be banned. The games in the Android Market have not yet received approval from the nation's regulating body, the Games Ratings Board. This may cause the entire Market to be excluded from South Korean Android devices.
