Chrome Browser v37 now has Google’s material design

It’s taking them slowly but surely to roll it out, but Google is continuing to apply its Material Design to its products. The latest to have been updated to this new look is something that most Android users probably have on their devices: the Chrome Browser. Version 37 of one of the most popular mobile browsers sees a new look, a simplified sign-in system and more bug fixes and improvements which is always a welcome update.

Google Update: G+ Chromecast support, minor tweaks

Ahead of Google’s normal update Wednesday, APKs of the updates to their first party apps have begun rolling in. Google+ has a pretty substantial update enabling Chromecast support while other Google products like YouTube, Chrome Beta and Google Search have gone through minor enhancements. They are not enough to warrant major announcements probably, but of course we still need to be aware of them.

Chrome Beta for Android update adds Chromecast support

Chrome Beta saw an update yesterday, which is usually not a big deal. Bug fixes and other minor tweaks are normal, but this one added something special. This time, one enterprising sleuth found a neat little addition. It seems we’ll have the ability to stream to our Chromecast right from our mobile browser!
