Huawei G520 4.5-inch quad-core phone for $225 gets pictured

Huawei has previously only been known for their budget friendly smartphones that were also a bit on the cheap side, but as of late they've been changing their game. Last years Ascend D Quad showed promise, and this years brand new Ascend Mate and Ascend D2 we saw last week at CES are certainly a step in the right direction. One that wasn't mentioned last week, the Huawei G520, has appeared and looks rather nice given the price.

ZTE Grand Era LTE flaunts its dual-mode LTE

ZTE today revealed its first dual-mode LTE smartphone in Hong Kong, the ZTE Grand Era LTE. This phone is billed to be part of the launch of China Mobile Hong Kong's first commercial converged TD-LTE / LTE FDD network, so it should end up being a pretty big deal over there. While dual-LTE is undoubtedly going to be the star of this show, there are some pretty solid specs to boost that functionality up.

Motorola RAZR HD spotted running ICS in China

We're seeing more and more evidence of an upgraded RAZR device coming from Motorola very soon. In addition to the DROID Fighter/DROID RAZR HD sneak peeks, Juggly.cn spotted a new model, the Motorola MT887, hanging out next to a couple of existing devices. The phone has a 4.3-inch screen as opposed to the larger one spotted on the DROID, but comes with an extra surprise: it's running Ice Cream Sandwich. Connoisseurs take note: this has to be one of the best examples we've seen of blurrycam photography!

Motorola RAZR gets redesigned for China markets

What do we have here, is this the DROID X3 or just another variant of the newly announced DROID RAZR? We know the DROID RAZR is for the US and Verizon and Motorola was planning just a Motorola RAZR for international markets but here we have a completely redesigned model from the images that were just leaked. Obviously it shares a very similar design with the Kevlar rear and extremely thin 7.1mm body, but clearly things are a bit different here, see for yourself after the break.

Baidu and Dell building Android-based OS for phones and tablets

While Google is huge in America and many other places around the world, Baidu is the biggest in China and are planning to get their own slice of the Android and mobile market. Google operates a big operation in China but is still behind Baidu in that region. China has a massive mobile market and it's only getting bigger, they are aiming to build their own OS using Android at the center but call it "Yi".

Motorola Domino+ smiles with its mid-range specs

A few pictures lately have leaked regarding another handset by our good pals Motorola. This will be called the Motorola Domino+ and I'm not sure what to say about it other than it looks "cute" and will be a decent little mid-range offering over in China first, but might make its way elsewhere shortly.

Motorola XT882 headed to China as Dual-Core, Dual-Sim, Dual-Mode Superphone

Lately we have seen a few devices that were headed to China and they weren't what I'd call up to par in the specs department, but this looks to bring that to a new level. Folks in China should be ready to rejoice with this new phone from Motorola. It is strikingly similar to the Motorola Atrix in terms of design and a few specs but the real treat is that dual-sim and dual-mode under the hood.
