After just recently announcing their new flagship ZTE Grand S 5-inch 1080p smartphone, we're now seeing a similarly designed budget device that is set to dominate the Chinese markets. It's only been about a week since the folks from Huawei announced their new flagship smartphone at CES, and it is already set to hit the shelves in parts of China. The companies new Ascend D2 5-inch 1080p smartphone will apparently be going up for sale from China Telecom tomorrow with a dual-SIM option, and can be yours for about $640. Pretty big price to pay.

Huawei has previously only been known for their budget friendly smartphones that were also a bit on the cheap side, but as of late they've been changing their game. Last years Ascend D Quad showed promise, and this years brand new Ascend Mate and Ascend D2 we saw last week at CES are certainly a step in the right direction. One that wasn't mentioned last week, the Huawei G520, has appeared and looks rather nice given the price.

ZTE today revealed its first dual-mode LTE smartphone in Hong Kong, the ZTE Grand Era LTE. This phone is billed to be part of the launch of China Mobile Hong Kong's first commercial converged TD-LTE / LTE FDD network, so it should end up being a pretty big deal over there. While dual-LTE is undoubtedly going to be the star of this show, there are some pretty solid specs to boost that functionality up.

We're seeing more and more evidence of an upgraded RAZR device coming from Motorola very soon. In addition to the DROID Fighter/DROID RAZR HD sneak peeks, Juggly.cn spotted a new model, the Motorola MT887, hanging out next to a couple of existing devices. The phone has a 4.3-inch screen as opposed to the larger one spotted on the DROID, but comes with an extra surprise: it's running Ice Cream Sandwich. Connoisseurs take note: this has to be one of the best examples we've seen of blurrycam photography!

What do we have here, is this the DROID X3 or just another variant of the newly announced DROID RAZR? We know the DROID RAZR is for the US and Verizon and Motorola was planning just a Motorola RAZR for international markets but here we have a completely redesigned model from the images that were just leaked. Obviously it shares a very similar design with the Kevlar rear and extremely thin 7.1mm body, but clearly things are a bit different here, see for yourself after the break.

New details are now available regarding the Meizu MX we first mentioned back in August. This quad-core powered Android superphone was said to be coming late September in a 16GB dual-core variety, as well as a 32GB quad-core beast and now we have more details and a release date.
