HTC One doesn’t support Qualcomm Quick Charge

Earlier this year when Qualcomm announced their new Snapdragon 600 and 800 series quad-core mobile processors, one awesome feature was Quick Charge. Sadly we've recently learned this additional layer to improve battery life and recharge time was left out of HTC's flagship One smartphone. Even though their HTC DROID DNA enjoys new technology.

Google expands the Nexus 4 accessory lineup

In addition to the bumper case, those purchasing a Nexus 4 from the Google Play Store now have a few additional accessories to consider along with the purchase of your phone. Simply put, Google has recently added a few new Nexus 4 accessories. There are three new additions in total and they include a USB cable, wall charger and wired headset.

Samsung GALAXY S 4 will be Qi wireless charging compatible

Wireless charging was discussed in regards to the GALAXY S 4 prior to the announcement event, however we didn't hear all that much on the night of. Not to mention, we haven't heard much since. That thought can be put to the side though as the Wireless Power Consortium has come forward to clear things up. Simply put, yes, the GALAXY S 4 has support for wireless charging.

LG announces “world’s smallest” wireless charger at MWC

LG has taken a step back from smartphone announcements and unveiled a new wireless charger. The charger is the LG WCP-300 and is being touted as the world's smallest measuring in at just 6.9cm in diameter. Perhaps more important than size though, the LG WCP-300 has been Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium.

We all want to spend less time by a wall outlet at the airport and more time browsing Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, ESPN, or whatever else we all do on our smartphones. Last week we reported on a feature called Quick Charge 1.0 from Qualcomm, but today they've introduced 2.0 to take things up a notch. Quick Charge has been around for some time, only they just detailed it last week, now today they're releasing details on what will make their new Snapdragon 800 series the best chip yet.

Today the folks from Qualcomm have detailed a neat feature called Quick Charge 1.0 that's been integrated into many of their current and upcoming processors.

We had seen some earlier rumors suggesting that the Galaxy S IV was going to support wireless charing. The one catch, we hadn't heard all that much since, that is, until now. This does come with one distinction though, this is not another Galaxy S IV rumor, but instead details on a recently discovered FCC filing. The filing comes by way of Samsung and is showing a Qi wireless charging pad.

Nexus 10 magnetic Pogo charger spotted in the wild

Nexus 10 owners might be getting a cool new way to charge their devices. A new Pogo charger has been shown by a forum user on Android Central, and this charger looks quite a bit more convenient. It comes hooks onto the phone using magnets, which makes hooking the phone up a little easier and faster. It's similar in function to the MagSafe chargers you will find on a MacBook.
